Andres Bonifacio, A Tapang A Tao.

Andres Bonifacio.  Nationalist and revolutionalist.  During the Philippine Revolution, he led the Katipunan and overthrew the Spanish colonial rule.

November 30 is Bonifacio Day, a national holiday where Filipinos recognizes Andres' contribution to Philippine Independence.  It's also Bonifacio's birth date.

OK.  So today's Bonifacio Day.  Let's start recognizin'...

...

Hmmm...

How do you show your admiration and gratitude to a man who had a vital role in shaping Philippine history and to Kalayaan?

. . .
Nakakalungkot, the only time we use the words "Bonifacio" and "thanks" in the same sentence is when saying: "Haaaay, salamat!  Bonifacio Day ngayon, walang pasooooook!"

Gravecious to the maximum levelacious kayong mga indio kayo! Kalerkey!"

* I have to admit, that was a great impression of Bonifacio. =)

Salamat, Ka Andres.
